Occupational Therapy Assessment

iShine Children’s Occupational Therapy provides comprehensive and individualised assessment of your child's development, tailored to the child’s individual needs and referral.

 

We offer mobile assessments face-to-face in your home, school, community, or online depending on what is most appropriate for your situation.

 

We provide assessment and intervention for:

  • Fine Motor Skills

  • Gross Motor Skills

  • Handwriting

  • Visual Perceptual Skills

  • Sensory Processing

  • Self-Regulation/Attention

  • Self-Care Skills

  • Executive Functioning/Cognitive Skills

  • Emotional Regulation

  • Social Skills

 

Additionally, we also provide:

  • Functional Capacity Assessments

  • School Readiness Screenings (for kindy & pre-primary student groups)

Individual Therapy Sessions

We provide individual therapy sessions within the home, school, and/or community environment, tailored to support the development of the skills identified through assessment, and to support the child and family to achieve their meaningful goals.

 

Online sessions are also offered if deemed appropriate.

We also offer Teletherapy (online therapy sessions) outside of our catchment e.g. rural/remote WA.

Parent & Carer Coaching Sessions

We believe and appreciate that parents and carers are the true experts in helping their child reach their potential. 

​

We offer mobile consultative sessions within your home or online, designed to empower families to develop their own strategies to use that are functional, practical, and personalised to the individual’s needs. This is a great option for those situations where parents may require advice, support, tips, or strategies towards certain areas, skills, or concerns.

This service is also offered within schools, where we can collaborate with the child’s teacher to problem solve and find suitable strategies based on the child’s needs.

 

Our coaching and consultative services are a collaborative approach whereby the therapist works together with the child’s support network to problem solve and find suitable individualised solutions to your concerns.

Workshops & Presentations

We provide information sessions and presentations for schools and other paediatric businesses, to support your staff with upskilling and/or learning new skills on a wide range of areas, to enable them to support and increase the participation of the students they may work with.
